Manufacturer and Supplier of Industrial and Medical Gases

Akhavan Kalantari Oxygen and Nitrogen Gas Company was established in 1325 in Tehran, as the first oxygen and nitrogen gas producer in Iran, and continues to produce gas and liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and dry air.
After the establishment and development of industrial units and enhanced oxygen and nitrogen gas demand in the country, managers established another plant in Guilan province, which was the first plant in this province. In 1357, this factory was moved to the industrial city of Rasht while increasing its production capacity. It is now working as “Akhavan Kalantari Industrial and Medical Gas Producer” in the field of liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen production.
In the same year (1346), the owners established another company named “The Acetylene Gas Company.” To meet the country's demand for acetylene, which was the first established acetylene gas production plant in Iran.
Today, Akhavan Kalantari Company imports and supplies different gases based on the need for special, mixed, and laboratory gases in the country. This plant is a member of the commission for the Standard of Specifications and Test Methods for Medical Oxygen Gas (National Standard No. 3240) and the commission for the Standard of Periodic Inspection and Testing of Seamless Steel Gas Cylinders (National Standard No. 6792) of the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI), and has a certificate for medical oxygen gas production from General Administration of Standards of Gilan and Tehran and works as the cooperating laboratory for the Standards Administration of Gilan and Tehran in the field of the cylinder body resistance testing.
This company was also the first one to receive ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2008 certificates from SGS.
